It’s supposed to be cold and windy Saturday, so we’re canceling February’s 3rd Saturday match.
The weather forecasters–who as we all know are always correct–are saying 60° for next Wednesday, so we’re hoping our 4th Wednesday practice match will still happen.

Indian Territory SASS is happy to announce that our annual cowboy match Pursuit into the Osage Nation at the beautiful Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve is officially scheduled for October 7-10th, 2021!
We are still in the early stages of planning and here’s where you come in: we are in need of a handful of dedicated volunteers to help run Pursuit into the Osage Nation. Our own Ninety Caliber Al has taken over as Match Director this year–many thanks to Burly Bill and Catoosa Red for their years of outstanding effort–and he’d love to hear from anyone interested in being a part of this unique match. Irish wanted to create an Agenda for the month so that everyone knows what’s coming up!
First, our Work Party tomorrow. We plan to start at 8AM and we’ll work until we don’t want to work anymore! Lunch will be provided at noon. Last time we worked until around 2PM. Wear your paint clothes and bring any tools that you think could be useful. (I’ll have Luther for anyone that has their kids/grandkids. He’s 6, almost 7.) (We might be a little late because Lil Irish drags us in the mornings, but we’ll bring donuts.. soo that makes up for it, right?)
Ladies, we’ll be focused on painting and decorations around the town, making a list of what we need and assigning stages to volunteers or something. We’ll figure it out.
Red Castle BBQ: Irish wants to make sure we tell you about the annual Red Castle BBQ Picnic. For those of you that shouldn’t be lifting the big ass targets at Woolaroc but still want to help and do something fun, Little Fat Buddy and Brazos Valley Kid are going to be having a four-stage shoot on Memorial Day starting at normal time (9:00am safety meeting) and then everyone will head down to the BBQ for lunch! We want to have a good cowboy presence for any Red Castle members or guests that may be interested in trying out our sport! BONUS: They will have an outdoor tailgate swap meet (guns and outdoor items), so bring your rat hole! YOU MUST RSVP at least A WEEK IN ADVANCE. Details are below.
